Super Bowl Baked Artichoke Dip

A super dip that's sure to be a touchdown!



You know what make a great quarterback? One factor is how quickly after the snap he can pass the ball to the receiver. It can make the difference between being a successful quarterback and Super Bowl quarterback.

Take Baked Artichoke Dip. Most of them have mayo, artichokes and parmesan cheese. Simple but meh! With a few more ingredients, this one becomes superior to all the others you’ve tried.


Our secret ingredients…nutty Swiss cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, Dijon and a hint of nutmeg. Lime juice goes so well with tangy artichokes, so we double down on it with the juice and the zest. Pair this dip with some sturdy corn chips or pita bread – and it’s a winner!








 


Super Bowl Baked Artichoke Dip


Recipe Ingredients

Everything you'll need for this delicious recipe is below.

  • 3 cans artichoke hearts – drained well and chopped

  • 2 medium onion (grated on a box grater or chopped fine in a food processor or mini chopper)

  • 3/4 c mayo

  • 3/4 c sour cream

  • 8 oz. cream cheese

  • 1 1/2 c Swiss cheese – freshly shredded

  • 1 1/2 c parmesan cheese– freshly grated or ground in a food processor

  • 2 t Dijon

  • 1 egg

  • 2 clove garlic minced fine

  • 1t Louisiana Red Hot, Tabasco or Sirrachi

  • 1 t salt

  • 1 t pepper

  • 1 lime (zested first and then juiced)

  • ¼ t nutmeg

  • Smoked Paprika or regular Paprika


Preparation Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients well in a bowl except paprika.

  2. Pour into a baking dish.

  3. Sprinkle with some paprika.

  4. Bake at 375 for 30 min. or until brown.

  5. Serve with chips or crackers or toasted French bread slices.
