When I was growing up, Sundays meant three things – church, food and football. My grandmother worked six days a week in a department store. On Sundays, we crammed into her tiny house, and she cooked for us – meaning cousins, aunts, uncles, my parents and my brother - and we watched football after church. My grandmother said it was her favorite day! It was mine too!

I learned at an early age that what’s on the plate is as important as what’s on the scoreboard.

ABOUT US

Years later, I’ve kept that tradition going. I’m still cooking Game Day Grub….on Sundays around a football game. Monday nights or Saturdays with the college games on.

Our game days have expanded too. Now, my daughter works for a Premier League Soccer team, so we get up early on Saturdays to watch English football. Brunch food is now Game Day Grub too.

And who doesn’t love grilling around baseball games or creating special dishes for basketball game or tailgating?

Whatever your sport, we’ve got Game Day Grub for you! And you can be assured – these recipes win!

Need even more inspiration?? We’re going on the road to find some of the best eats at ballparks, stadiums and arenas and bringing them straight to you!
